Seminar-workshop: “School of Glaucomatologists. Gonioscopy”

On October 30, 2019, a seminar-workshop entitled “School of Glaucomatologists. Gonioscopy” was held at the base of Okomedikas Ophthalmology Clinic with support from the pharmaceutical company Santen.

As part of the program “Together against blindness” ophthalmologists of Cherkasy region were introduced to the latest instrumental methods of diagnosis of eye disorders and diseases.

Today, ophthalmology is the fastest growing branch of medicine. So to use modern equipment is to have 50 percent of success in the treatment of vision problems.

As part of the seminar, a master class was taught by the leading retina specialist, ophthalmologist Pecheriy Vadym Hennadiyovych, who has long cooperated with Okomedikas Clinic and once a month gives consultation and performs laser treatment at the Clinic in Cherkasy.

Yanina Bronislavivna Hnatenko, Director of Okomedikas Clinic, thanked all the participants for their active participation and expressed hope that such work enabled the ophthalmologists to learn more about the latest diagnostic methods and they would share their experience to help implement them in the field.
